What do we accept?
The Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity Stores accept donations of new or gently used building materials, furniture, appliances, housewares, hardware, and tools that are clean and in 100% working condition. We accept donations at all of our locations from 9am to 5:30pm, 7 days a week.

Items we carry in our Stores and always love to receive include:
FURNITURE
Find couches, lamps, tables, dressers, desks, and much more at each of our stores. We accept only clean and tear-free items from our donors. Note: We do not accept mattresses.
CABINETS
Our cabinets are ready to install in your kitchen, utility room, or bathroom. Find the perfect cabinets for your own DIY or home improvement project. All cabinets must be in good condition.
APPLIANCES
All donated appliances must be clean and in working condition. You can find both gas and electric stoves, washers, and dryers, as well as refrigerators.
TOOLS
From hand tools to power tools, we carry a variety of items that will help you get the job done. All power tools must be in working condition.
DOORS & WINDOWS
We carry both interior and exterior doors as well as exterior windows. You can also find installation hardware at all of our Habitat Stores to help with your project.
ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES
We often receive unique antiques and collectibles from our community of donors. Please call if you have questions about your unique donation. Check our stores often for these special pieces!
SINKS & VANITIES
Our attached and detached sinks and vanities are unique and ready for installation in your bathroom. All sinks and vanities must be in good condition with minimal cracks and scratches.
LIGHTING
We accept outdoor and indoor lighting fixtures. They must be in working condition and have minimal marks and scratches. Each lighting fixture is unique and perfect for your lighting needs.
HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
We carry a wide variety of pictures, art pieces, silverware, dishware, home decor, and much more. Find our largest collection of these items at our Lakewood store.

Note: Due to restrictions set in place by the Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act that went into effect January 4, 2014, the Habitat Stores are no longer able to accept the following products: kitchen faucets, bathroom sink faucets, dishwashers, water heaters, pipes and pipe fittings leading to the above, plumbed-in appliances (e.g., coffee makers), or fire hydrants. We appreciate your understanding.
